Today I visited, an exhibition as part of Chennai Celebrations, at Mylapore. There I met Sri S.A. Govindaraju who has displayed very rare collections of paper advertisements, photographs, magazine clippings of Chennai, of yester years (between 1857 to 2004). While speaking to him he was very much passionate about Chennai and yester years values. Really, it took us to the good old days of Chennai, which was very peaceful and beautiful. Thanks, to his effects. A big Salute to him. Sri S.A. Govindaraju has collection of rare books on politics, music, sports especially Cricket. He is obsessed with rare old advertisement dating back to 30's & 40's., and everything else about old and rare collections. He even has books on cine stars and politicians.
